Welcome to Outer Island!

Last year, Amy and I took a trip to the Redwood Forests of Northern California. We felt so inspired there and knew it would be among our most favorite travels, however, we struggled to find tokens to bring back to our family and friends as gifts or souvenirs for ourselves. Even though our most treasured memories are of the places that we've traveled to, our memories always fade, which is why Amy and I like to find something special to bring back.

It was in this spirit, on one of our many hikes through the fern filled forests that we decided to collaborate. Amy is a graphic designer and I'm an artist. In addition, we're both passionate about nature and try to spend as much time as possible in it. We're lucky to live in sun filled Sydney, Australia and draw inspiration from the many exciting things we see in nature here. We love to explore and learn about the world and its amazing inhabitants.

Our goal is to share our experiences in nature with people by creating products that bring awareness to native animals and habitats. Nature needs all the advocates in can get in this changing world.
