Shipping Info
In-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 working days via Australia Post. We will notify you once your order has been shipped with tracking details if applicable.
If you need to ensure same day delivery, just email us at: hello@outerisland.com.au before you place the order and we'll arrange it :)
All orders are shipped in recyclable envelopes or boxes. We are proud to say we are 100% plastic free, with no excess packaging. As we are all about the planet, we want to make sure we are not creating extra waste. We urge you to reuse our packaging or recycle them.
Shipping Options:
Australia
Standard shipping is free for all orders over $50.
Standard $9.50 / Delivery within 2-6 working days with tracking.
Express $18.50 / Delivery within 1-3 working days with tracking.
United States
Standard shipping within the USA is free for orders over $300AUD.
Standard shipping prices start from $25AUD depending on the size/weight with tracking. Delivery timing may take up to 7-14 business days depending where in the US. Please note during the holiday season delivery can be delayed so make sure to place your orders early.
International
For other countries, please email hello@outerisland.com.au and we can organise special delivery for you.
Returns/Exchanges
We take every care to get your goods to you safely and to show accurate photos and descriptions on our website. Our items are all handmade, so each does differ slightly in person. Additionally, as we use natural materials, there may be some natural imperfections present in the fiber of the linen, grain of the wood, or within the jute twine.
Pre-orders
Please be certain of your pre-order as we do not accept cancellation on pre-orders that are placed. Refunds will only be provided if an item is assessed and deemed to be faulty.
We only offer refunds or exchanges on products that have arrived damaged or are significantly different from the description or the photograph (not for any natural imperfections present as described above). For any returns or exchanges please be sure to email us at hello@outerisland.com.au before you ship your package back to us so we know to expect it.
We are happy to accept a return/exchange within 14 days of receipt of item. No returns/exchanges will be processed after this time.
We do not provide refund or exchange for change of mind. And we do not provide any refunds or exchanges for items purchased at a market. Sale items and some specials items are final sale and will be marked as such.
To return/exchange an item:
1. Email us and then please return your item(s) to the return address on your envelope. Include any original paperwork with the order and note down the key details or keep a copy for yourself.
2. Once we have the item(s) we are happy to refund the cost of the product(s) to you or issue an exchange. Shipping costs excluded.
3. Refunds can only be processed to the credit card you used to pay originally. There are no exceptions to this.
