Limited Re-release of Our Rainbow Lorikeet for Mardi Gras

Happy Mardi Gras Sydney!

To celebrate, we are re-releasing our Rainbow Lorikeet Ornament for a limited time, in limited amounts, complete with a tiny painted rainbow on the back (awwwww).

The symbol of a rainbow goes hand in hand with pride, its many colours expressing the diversity of the community since the 1970’s.

While the usual Mardi Gras we know and love had to be modified due to COVID-19, there’s still a lot to celebrate this year, especially in the rainbow department with two brand-new public rainbows opening. The first, a 90 metre rainbow walkway was launched by the City of Sydney in the Inner West to commemorate marriage equality and the second, Sydney’s first beachside rainbow walkway in Coogee.

So get out your best ROY-G-BIV and be happy. If there’s ever a year we needed to shake the troubles off the last one off, it’s this one. In the meantime, you can find us where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops …
