Paint your very own Psychedelic Mushroom! This workshop is all about good vibes, having fun and getting creative! We'll play with colour as we learn different colour theory techniques to create your own psychedelic shroom table top. You'll paint your own fungi to take home using colour in ways you never imagined. No experience necessary, all materials provided.

Organised by local artists, this event held at an iconic Inner West Town Hall will be filled with just under 50 makers and designers for one day only to share their work to the public. Set the weekend before Christmas, this event will be the perfect market to fulfill the wish lists of loved ones. Make-it Market strives to support upcoming local designers and brands, on the day there will be an Emerging Designer section to promote these exciting creative new ventures.

SBC TWILIGHT MEET-UP | Friday 24 February at Sydney Park, 6PM-7:30PM

What better time of year to take a stroll than just before sunset in nature’s ‘golden hour’ during Summer and what better place to go than one of our favourite local spots in Sydney! We’ll stroll through Sydney Park exploring ponds and working from our checklist to discover what feathered friends live in this beautiful park. 

Meet-up location will be confirmed via email.

If you ‘re booking the event for a friend or partner, make sure to select the correct number before adding to cart/checkout (limited spots available). We will be organising another walk in late April so don’t worry if you miss out, just fill in the form below and we’ll give you first dibs to sign-up to our autumn walk.

We’ll provide a fun bird checklist on the day, but recommend bringing water, a hat and binoculars if you have a pair. Due to Covid we will not be sharing binoculars.

Birds we mighhhtttt see: Royal Spoonbill, Pelican, Reed Warbler, Black Swan, Dusky Moorhen, Purple Swamphen, White-faced Heron, Willie-wagtail, Crested Pigeon, Magpie Lark, Australasian Grebe, Galah, Buff-banded Rail and more :)

This walk is recommended for beginners or anyone who wants to have fun! Sydney Bird Club was founded by Stephanie Chambers and Amy Ranck — Our walks are free and are a way for us to share our love for birds and the beautiful city we live in. Good vibes only!

Sip some wine, laugh with friends, and create your very own Pride-themed masterpiece in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. We will guide you step-by-step in creating a dazzling painting to take home at the end of the day. Perfect for an afternoon out with friends or the first step toward learning to paint in a fun, relaxed environment.

This event is hosted by a local favorite Hypmotive, who support and celebrate the local makers and artists.

Australian Design Centre presents a curated Makers Market on Palmer Street. Featuring jewellery, ceramics, textiles, fashion and homewares, soak up the Sydney Craft Week buzz, meet local makers and browse stalls filled with their wares.

We will have our hand-painted ornaments, Christmas cards and our linen tea towels fully stocked for this one day market. Plus we will have special bundles just for you!

Join us in taking inspiration directly from nature this spring exploring the colours, shapes and textures of Sydney’s Centennial Park.

Connect with nature during this meditative morning outdoors observing, drawing, note-taking and ethically sourcing nature to create a visual diary of your experience that morning. Design fundamentals will be discussed including next steps for you to turn your visual diary into a painting, object or anything else you can imagine!

Bring a sketchbook or journal and a picnic blanket or chair to sit in and we will provide the rest in this fun, relaxed and sustainable workshop outdoors. Weather permitting, please note rain date in case of inclement weather.
