The next time you hear a deafening frog chorus, look up. There just might be a red-eyed tree frog at the top of the tree you’re near. These bright green frogs spend most of their time at the tops of trees sleeping during the day and feeding on insects at night. They are found throughout eastern Australia starting just north of Sydney. And if you’re curious what to listen for, keep an ear out for “waa-aa…waa-aa”
